HOWL-WEEN PET PARADE
Bring your pet(s) dressed in their Halloween costume, their favorite outfit, or just their shining coat and join us for a howling good time in Centennial Park.

This activity has become a favorite for visitors and those families entering their pets.
Registration is available online, or from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the DDA’s information table in Centennial Park. The parade will begin at 2:00pm in front of the gazebo.
A Pet-Potty will be provided, so please be sure to make use of it for your pets. Pet Vendors will be selling a variety of clothing, treats, and pet essentials. Come see what they have to offer!

CHILI-COOK OFF
Taste some of the best chili Oxford has to offer!
Participating restaurants will begin cooking the signature chili early in the day, and the public will be able to sample these “chilling creations” for FREE beginning at 11:00am.

This year, the public will also participate in selecting a winner, so be sure to pick up a copy of the “People’s Choice Judging Sheet” to place your votes! A Panel will also select another winner!

ARTISAN’S ALLEY
Spaced throughout Centennial Park, a select group of artists, vendors and non-profit groups will sell their creations, products and offer information about their services.The Oxford Free Methodist Church will provide Hot Chocolate and Donuts at no cost

  • A Hay Wagon will provide transportation between Centennial Park and Merge Art Studio and Gallery at no cost.

Begins at 12:30pm. No registration required – Listen for our announcement in Centennial Park! The contest will be broken into age categories: 0-4 years, 5-8 years, 9-12 years, 13-16 years, and 17+ years old including adults!
  • Adopt a Pet: Sponsored by Oxford Farm and Garden and K-9 Stray Rescue League
  • Scary Sale Bags: Sponsored by Genisys Credit Union
Stuffed with coupons from local and area business these bags will be given to the first 500 people who attend this event.  Basic contact information will be obtained from those receiving a bag and available to businesses upon request.

COSTUME CONTESTS
Registration for the Children’s and Adults Costume Contests will be at Merge Art Studio and Gallery, located at 33 Pleasant Street, Oxford, Michigan from 11:00am to 3:00pm.


Merge will also have children’s activities, including Pumpkin Painting and Balloon Animals, as well as cider and fall treats from Idle Awhile Coffee at a nominal cost

 

The Children’s Costume Contest will conclude at 3:30pm in Centennial Park with the Costume Parade. Costume contest winners will be announced following the parade. ‘wiches will also hand out gift cards for anyone dressed as a Witch, in addition to a Top Prize.
